Ronnie McKelloch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Forsinard's Ronnie McKelloch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aidan McKinven in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Luigi & Mario Bros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Derek Taylor came free, but Gus Beadle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rod Fife fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forsinard's protests and gave Rod Fife a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Luigi & Mario Bros FC booed when Forsinard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rod Fife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luigi & Mario Bros FC's Gus Beadle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Taylor in the 27th minute of play. Andrew Green sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Andrew Green got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Fife in the 34th minute of play forced Luigi & Mario Bros FC's goalkeeper Gus Beadle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Derek Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gus Beadle having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Derek Taylor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gus Beadle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aidan McKinven to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeremy McIlduy struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Gus Beadle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forsinard. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Luigi & Mario Bros FC's goalkeeper Gus Beadle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrew Green fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gus Beadle having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Forsinard's Derek Taylor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Gus Beadle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Taylor in the 69th minute of play. Forsinard's Ronnie McKelloch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irvin Corrie in the 74th minute of play. If Andrew Green had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gus Beadle was a little too slow when Derek Taylor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-5. Ronnie McKelloch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Buchan, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 94th minute, Ben Broom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
