Thanks to some nice moves Andrew Green could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Ricky Carrick however easily saved by the left post. In the 47th match minute, Gorebridge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William McHardy to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Derek Taylor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Derek Taylor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forsinard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derek Taylor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricky Carrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Taylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Spence hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Derek Taylor might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricky Carrick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derek Taylor ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricky Carrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Green in the 74th minute of the match. Ricky Carrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrew Green's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 83rd match minute, Forsinard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Broom to maneuver through the defense. In the 86thth minute of the game Andrew Green who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gorebridge United's Ricky Carrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William McHardy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ronnie McKelloch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Andrew Green managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forsinard's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrew Green was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricky Carrick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Gorebridge United getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. William McHardy hit a great ball. Gorebridge United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
