After a rather tough play, FC Renoresa's Asle Refsnes got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute, Mark McPhorich made a precise shot to the right of Ace Kilgore. After some careless play in the Gorebridge United defense, Sylwester Czajkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricky Carrick. The Gorebridge United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricky Carrick should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Gorebridge United's Miles McLergain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ace Kilgore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Asle Refsnes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match.
