Gus Beadle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Garrow in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Luigi & Mario Bros FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Frankie McColman hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Forsinard United's Kenneth Morton got a free kick in the 14th minute. Gus Beadle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Garrow in the 17th minute of play. Ben Garrow scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gus Beadle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Luigi & Mario Bros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darius McClymont came free, but Gus Beadle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darius McClymont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gus Beadle having to interfere. Ryan Buchan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gus Beadle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius McClymont in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Forsinard United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darius McClymont stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Darius McClymont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gus Beadle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aidan McKinven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Darius Forrest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben Garrow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gus Beadle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darius Forrest showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frankie McColman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With splendid footwork Darius McClymont arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 76th minute. A collision led to Luigi & Mario Bros FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Frankie McColman hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Ben Garrow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forsinard United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Garrow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Forsinard United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
