With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evan McSwan in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lewis Lemond saved AA Black Green City from getting behind. Joseph Norman hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Declan Shaw's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lewis Lemond was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Lewis Lemond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evan McSwan in the 14th minute of the match. Sean McIlzegowie was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Drew Ballantyne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Evan McSwan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AA Black Green City's Lewis Lemond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dollar's Declan Shaw got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Dollar getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Evan McSwan hit a great ball. When Gus Weaver fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AA Black Green City's protests and gave Gus Weaver a yellow card for diving instead. Evan McSwan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lewis Lemond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Declan Shaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Darren Crookshanks's late challenge caught a AA Black Green City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darren Crookshanks helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dollar's Darren Crookshanks got a free kick in the 54th minute. Lewis Lemond made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Declan Shaw sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Evan McSwan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Evan McSwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil McCurrach's late challenge caught a Dollar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neil McCurrach helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Neil McCurrach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steven Symon got in the 81st minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Lewis Lemond. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-2. In the 92nd minute, Bob McAlister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AA Black Green City's Lewis Lemond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evan McSwan in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of AA Black Green City booed when Dollar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darren Crookshanks didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dollar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
