Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Matt McElfrish started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8thth minute of the game Drew McLagan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AttackAcademy's Aidan Kay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Heriot's goalkeeper Elliot McMurdoch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Sherry. In the 15th minute, Robert McAchounich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Drew McLagan came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Heriot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drew McLagan couldn't finish the play. In the 21st match minute, AttackAcademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert McAchounich to maneuver through the defense. Elliot McMurdoch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Sherry in the 24th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Thomas Sherry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AttackAcademy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Sherry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aidan Kay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew McLagan in the 31st minute of the match. Aidan Kay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew McLagan in the 40th minute of play. If Drew McLagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Derek McCruithein to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matt McElfrish in the 55th minute of play forced Heriot's goalkeeper Elliot McMurdoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liam McGreusich during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Heriot booed when AttackAcademy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam McGreusich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taylor Clark shot from long distance in the 65th minute, but Aidan Kay was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Aidan Kay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek McCruithein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matt McElfrish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Sherry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot McMurdoch having to interfere. After 75 played minutes AttackAcademy got a freekick which was hit by Marc Frizell. In the 76th minute, Taylor Clark sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AttackAcademy's Aidan Kay didn't even have to move. Drew McLagan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Aidan Kay made a huge save. Matt McElfrish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elliot McMurdoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Sherry in the 96th minute of the match.
