Spectators: 7750 (Terracing: 5814, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcus McCuish got the match started through his kick off. In the 12th minute Marcus McCuish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike McColman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciaran Yule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fergus Dyer in the 15th minute of play forced Kilmacolm FC's goalkeeper Vincent Sorely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Sorely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Craig French, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute, Kilmacolm FC's Lucas Tolmie seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lucas Tolmie the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kilmacolm FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lucas Tolmie had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 18th minute, one of Kilmacolm FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kilmacolm FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fergus Dyer in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Sorely saved Kilmacolm FC from getting behind. Kilmacolm FC's Vincent Sorely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Craig French in the 28th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Craig French who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kilmacolm FC's Vincent Sorely was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Craig French managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalmally City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Craig French was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ewan McKerracher took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincent Sorely. Vincent Sorely dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 42nd match minute, Dalmally City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Forstar to maneuver through the defense. Danny McEachan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilmacolm FC's goalkeeper Vincent Sorely, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute Fergus Dyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Sorely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Dalmally City were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Craig French made the kick off in the second half. Ewan McKerracher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Vincent Sorely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fergus Dyer struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Vincent Sorely didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalmally City. Kilmacolm FC's Vincent Sorely proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Kilmacolm FC from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Dalmally City's goal looked a bit too open when Ciaran Yule came free, but Mike McColman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Craig French had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Sorely made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fergus Dyer in the 73rd minute. If Fergus Dyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciaran Yule in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike McColman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vincent Sorely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Craig French, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Fergus Dyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Craig French sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st match minute, Kilmacolm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin McCammon to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig French in the 96th minute of play forced Kilmacolm FC's goalkeeper Vincent Sorely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
