After having played for 8 minutes, Bradley Fullarton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celtic Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradley Fullarton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimmy Gillon kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Aidan McChoiter struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Rory McCutchen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celtic Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Rory McCutchen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steve Home breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Celtic Rangers were the better team. Celtic Rangers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
