Gordon Sandison helped the player get up and apologised. Gordon Sandison kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Rupert Ayres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Sandison in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Direwolves's zone, Gordon Sandison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rupert Ayres came out of the goal and Gordon Sandison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wal Chisholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greig McFater in the 29th minute of play forced Portree's goalkeeper Connor McShannachan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Portree's Wal Chisholm in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Direwolves's goalie prevented a goal. Greig McFater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes, Gordon Sandison made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Direwolves's Rupert Ayres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Direwolves's zone, Wal Chisholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rupert Ayres came out of the goal and Wal Chisholm tried to chip the ball over his head. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Greig McFater stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wal Chisholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Rupert Ayres made a huge save. Greig McFater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Lombard kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Gordon Sandison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Ayres having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Gordon Sandison got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 77th match minute, Direwolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Callum Adair to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 78 minutes, Wal Chisholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portree's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wal Chisholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rupert Ayres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Sandison in the 83rd minute of the match. Direwolves's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Gordon Sandison scored to the left of an out of position Rupert Ayres, making the score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wal Chisholm got free with Rupert Ayres in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Portree players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
