Taylor McKindlay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arthur Coutts showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Freddie McGown came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Taylor McKindlay could save by the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ben Baird was the one to do the kick off.
