Spectators: 7724 (Terracing: 5794, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Lossiemouth FC's Rick Fee started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Callum McIlvride might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Young. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Callum McIlvride ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute Callum McIlvride shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Young saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas McPhadden took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Young. Charles Young dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Callum McIlvride fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Young having to interfere. If Callum McIlvride had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas McPhadden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Callum McIlvride's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Young was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. If Lucas McPhadden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Young stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas McPhadden's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 33 played minutes Lossiemouth FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinny Aspin. Lossiemouth FC's Charles Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Callum McIlvride in the 35th minute of play. Charles Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas McPhadden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ross Harper made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ronald Alcock sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Bowmore FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Callum McIlvride stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Rick Fee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross Harper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Lossiemouth FC's Paul Gorman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ross Harper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Callum McIlvride sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Callum McIlvride shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Young saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bowmore FC's Callum McIlvride in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lossiemouth FC's goalie prevented a goal. Paul Gorman hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ross Harper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Fee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronald Alcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ross Harper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas McPhadden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Charles Young made a huge save. After 85 minutes, Paul Gorman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lossiemouth FC and the Bowmore FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Paul Gorman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Young made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Lucas McPhadden sent off a good shot on target. Lucas McPhadden struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Charles Young didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bowmore FC. 95 minutes into the match, Lossiemouth FC's goalkeeper Charles Young had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicholas Lean.
