Spectators: 6789 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Wally Dis sped through Cromarty United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ross Taylor. In the 15th minute, Wally Dis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kelty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 19 minutes into the game, Mark Doles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kelty's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cromarty United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kelty's Mark Doles got a free kick in the 19th minute. Vinny Edwards took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Greg McShannachan. Kelty's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute, Adrian McGilroy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jim Nish charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Nish the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jim Nish hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Wally Dis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Kelty's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Aitken came free, but Greg McShannachan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylan McLarty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ross Taylor having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Adrian McGilroy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Kelty's Greg McShannachan got control of the ball when Tommy Aitken tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Adrian McGilroy made the kick off in the second half. Taylor Reidfurd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Aitken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg McShannachan having to interfere. Greg McShannachan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Aitken's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Jim Nish was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. Wally Dis struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Ross Taylor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kelty. Greg McShannachan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Aitken went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 79 played minutes, Kelty's Ross Edgar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ross Taylor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kelty reached it. Greg McShannachan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Aitken, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 80 played minutes Kelty got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Morrison. Ross Taylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan McLarty in the 83rd minute of the match. Tommy Aitken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Greg McShannachan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Logan Banks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Kelty players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cromarty United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
