Spectators: 7044 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1234, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacob McErracher kicked off to start the match. If Jacob McErracher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lewis McNee hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Reşat Uzlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ewan McCall in the 7th minute of play. Reşat Uzlet came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Stracathro's Jacob McErracher. But to his dismay, Jacob McErracher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sandown FC's Reşat Uzlet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ewan McCall in the 14th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Jacob McErracher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stracathro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Reşat Uzlet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ewan McCall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lewis McNee hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ewan McCall took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reşat Uzlet. Reşat Uzlet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nigel McCeallaich during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Sandown FC got a freekick which was hit by Nigel McCeallaich. Sandown FC's Reşat Uzlet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob McErracher in the 41st minute of play. Erik Schvarzbacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finlay Daniels having to interfere. The Sandown FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stracathro were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Schvarzbacher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sandown FC's Marin Olteanu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Stracathro's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Schvarzbacher came free, but Finlay Daniels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Stracathro's zone, Marin Olteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Finlay Daniels came out of the goal and Marin Olteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Finlay Daniels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Olteanu in the 75th minute of the match. If Erik Schvarzbacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Guy Dobbie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marin Olteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob McErracher in the 86th minute of play forced Sandown FC's goalkeeper Reşat Uzlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes in the game Samuel Mathie got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 90th minute, Nigel McCeallaich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stracathro played a much better game than Sandown FC and deserved their victory. The Sandown FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
