The crowd rose to their feet as Sean Brownson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nathan Stalker. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the game, Coldstream's Craig Duncanson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur McCluskie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Seaview United's Bob McCarter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nathan Stalker. That made the score 4-1 after 45 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

In the 62nd minute, Alan McBheath left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coldstream fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Arthur McCluskie made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Alan McBheath sent off a good shot on target. Nathan Stalker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Brownson in the 91st minute of the match. Hugh French hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Nathan Stalker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Brownson in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Craig Duncanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur McCluskie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seaview United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
