Darvel City's Peter Huntly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyler Walters in the 2nd minute of play. Alexander Minnus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Huntly having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Alexander Minnus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berriedale FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Minnus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Huntly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timmy Lammond's late challenge caught a Berriedale FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timmy Lammond helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Timmy Lammond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th match minute, Darvel City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Lammond to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Darvel City getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bruce Bell hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Liam Lammond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Simon Swan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Tyler Walters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berriedale FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Berriedale FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Tommy Gardner dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricky McFeat, 1-2. Alexander Minnus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Peter Huntly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Huntly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyler Walters in the 44th minute of play. Tyler Walters struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Peter Huntly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berriedale FC.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Minnus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Minnus in the 51st minute of play forced Darvel City's goalkeeper Peter Huntly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Huntly was a little too slow when Tyler Walters got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-4. Tyler Walters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Peter Huntly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berriedale FC played a much better game than Darvel City and deserved their victory. The Darvel City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
