Spectators: 6807 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1807, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Cromarty FC's Rod Clyne got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Freddie McOwl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob McCarter in the 5th minute of play. William McMaurice kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Cromarty FC's Jack Christie got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Sean Brownson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddie McOwl. Cromarty FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sean Brownson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 23 played minutes Cromarty FC got a freekick which was hit by Irvin Milne. Freddie McOwl came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Seaview United's Theo Suttie. But to his dismay, Theo Suttie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob McCarter in the 28th minute of play forced Cromarty FC's goalkeeper Freddie McOwl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur McCluskie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evan Ayson in the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob McCarter in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddie McOwl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Evan Wilson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Seaview United got a corner. Cromarty FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Theo Suttie ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tam O'Shannaig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Evan Ayson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Bob McCarter made the kick off in the second half. Freddie McOwl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob McCarter in the 51st minute of play. If Bob McCarter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rod Clyne kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cromarty FC's zone, Sean Brownson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie McOwl came out of the goal and Sean Brownson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Seaview United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jack Christie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Seaview United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Evan Wilson scored to the left of an out of position Arthur McCluskie, making the score, 2-2. A collision led to Cromarty FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Oliver Rusk hit a great ball. Seaview United's Bob McCarter got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bob McCarter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddie McOwl was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Evan Ayson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arthur McCluskie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sean Brownson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seaview United's Bob McCarter got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jack Christie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arthur McCluskie firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seaview United's goalkeeper Arthur McCluskie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
