Spectators: 6812 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1812, VIP seats: 0) Vincent Reidfurd started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tim Buckley came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benjamin McMurdoch could save by the left post. Benjamin McMurdoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Tonnochy in the 7th minute of the match. If Nathan Tonnochy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Reidfurd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Beton having to interfere. When Vincent Reidfurd came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Golspie City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Reidfurd couldn't finish the play. Ewan Green charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ewan Green the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Golspie City getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ewan Green hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Lewis Balmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Beton having to interfere. When Golspie City's Vincent Reidfurd in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kinross's goalie prevented a goal. Benjamin McMurdoch was a little too slow when Nathan Tonnochy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Nathan Tonnochy came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Kinross fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathan Tonnochy couldn't finish the play. When Iain McAuselan fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kinross's protests and gave Iain McAuselan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Vincent Reidfurd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kinross's John Beton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Kinross booed when Golspie City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Reidfurd didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nathan Tonnochy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Buckley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Benjamin McMurdoch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nathan Tonnochy to strike the kick off in the second half. Kinross's John Beton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Reidfurd in the 53rd minute of play. Vinny Buntain hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Aaron Jameson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but John Beton made a huge save. Benjamin McMurdoch came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kinross's Nathan Tonnochy. But to his dismay, Nathan Tonnochy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. John Beton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calum Stark, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Joseph Caw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Buckley in the 84th minute of play forced Golspie City's goalkeeper Benjamin McMurdoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin McMurdoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Buckley in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Lewis Balmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golspie City were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Kinross's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Calum Stark took the corner. Nigel Harperson tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired John Beton. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-2 in the 96th minute.
