Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jeremy McKinney got the match started through his kick off. Jeremy McKinney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Richard Lowson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Lowson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy McKinney in the 16th minute of the match. When Malcolm Turner came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Scotland KAOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcolm Turner couldn't finish the play. Greig Barr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Patrick McIlvrae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Scotland KAOS got a freekick which was hit by Alex McMurchy. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Patrick during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Jeremy McKinney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Jedburgh booed when Scotland KAOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Patrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick McIlvrae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Turner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Greig Barr came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Scotland KAOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greig Barr couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Malcolm Turner to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Scotland KAOS's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy McKinney came free, but Richard Lowson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy McKinney was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Jedburgh's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Greig Barr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick McIlvrae read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Scotland KAOS's zone, Marc McKean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Lowson came out of the goal and Marc McKean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Lowson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremy McKinney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm Turner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Lowson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy McKinney in the 71st minute of the match. When Jeremy McKinney came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Jedburgh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy McKinney couldn't finish the play. Patrick McIlvrae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greig Barr in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, Scotland KAOS's Richard Lowson got control of the ball when Marc McKean tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marc McKean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremy McKinney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Lowson was a little too slow when Jeremy McKinney got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-2. When the match was over Jedburgh could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Scotland KAOS throughout the match.
