Rob Crawley helped the player get up and apologised. Rob Crawley hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Patrick McIlvrae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter McCrain, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ewan Donlevy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremy McKinney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rob Crawley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter McCrain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick McIlvrae having to interfere. Patrick McIlvrae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Stringer, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Walter McCrain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joshua Beton charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Beton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jedburgh booed when Lochearnhead United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Beton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc McKean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ewan Donlevy made a huge save. Ewan Donlevy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremy McKinney, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 47th minute, Sam Begg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walter McCrain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Jedburgh got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Hewitt. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Henry Cross managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lochearnhead United's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Cross was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick McIlvrae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremy McKinney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ewan Donlevy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rob Crawley kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Lochearnhead United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Cross to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match Craig McMath shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ewan Donlevy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ewan Donlevy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marc McKean's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Lochearnhead United's Sam Begg got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ewan Donlevy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc McKean in the 77th minute of play. Jeremy McKinney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Marc McKean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lochearnhead United's zone, Jeremy McKinney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ewan Donlevy came out of the goal and Jeremy McKinney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremy McKinney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewan Donlevy having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Lochearnhead United's goal looked a bit too open when Marc McKean came free, but Ewan Donlevy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Marc McKean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jedburgh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
