Spectators: 7774 (Terracing: 5831,
Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Malcolm Turner kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Nigel Berry shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Lowson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Richard Lowson came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Eyemouth AFC's Patrick Andrews. But to his dismay, Patrick Andrews quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Greig Barr got free with Blair Rose in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Greig Barr might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blair Rose. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Greig Barr ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Patrick Andrews had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Lowson.
