Spectators: 7757 (Terracing: 5820, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) Scott McLintock started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, Chris McAngus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glasgow Poland Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cairndow AFC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Chris McAngus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dean McAuselan, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cairndow AFC's Tyler McAchounich got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Sandison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John McMurray's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Dean McAuselan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Sid Casey came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Glasgow Poland Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Casey couldn't finish the play. If Scott McLintock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. John McMurray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Sandison having to interfere. Tyler McAchounich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Sandison having to make a save. Paul McVail charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul McVail the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Glasgow Poland Team got a freekick which was hit by Paul McVail. John McMurray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, John McMurray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinny McCook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott McLintock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If John McMurray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cairndow AFC's goalkeeper Vinny McCook, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Glasgow Poland Team's zone, John McMurray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Sandison came out of the goal and John McMurray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes, Peter Booth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glasgow Poland Team and the Cairndow AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tyler McAchounich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ivan Sandison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Sandison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler McAchounich, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John McMurray to make the kick off. When Tyler McAchounich came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cairndow AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tyler McAchounich couldn't finish the play. Ivan Sandison was a little too slow when John McMurray got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-1. James McGeachin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vinny McCook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Glasgow Poland Team's James McGeachin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinny McCook narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cairndow AFC's Tyler McAchounich got a free kick in the 64th minute. Cairndow AFC's Vinny McCook played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott McLintock in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by James McGeachin in the 67th minute of play forced Cairndow AFC's goalkeeper Vinny McCook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Sandison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyler McAchounich in the 70th minute. Ivan Sandison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyler McAchounich in the 71st minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cairndow AFC's goalkeeper Vinny McCook, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, James McGeachin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glasgow Poland Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but James McGeachin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Scott McLintock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinny McCook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James McGeachin in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Cairndow AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Glasgow Poland Team.
