Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aidan Norman took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Drysdale in the 2nd minute of play forced Tighnabruaich's goalkeeper Shane Cowan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Edward Fostar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Phillip Burns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joshua Drysdale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shane Cowan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Sunderland's goal looked a bit too open when Aidan Norman came free, but Nick McVey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nick McVey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter McCammond, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Anthony Limond hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Nick McVey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aidan Norman in the 21st minute of play. If Walter McCammond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, Sunderland's goal looked a bit too open when Aidan Norman came free, but Nick McVey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Sunderland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Cameron to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match Charlie Minnus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nick McVey skillfully saved the ball. In the 30th match minute, Tighnabruaich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevie Skinner to maneuver through the defense. Edward Fostar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Cowan having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Edward Fostar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Shane Cowan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Tighnabruaich's Aidan Norman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nick McVey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Aidan Norman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sunderland's Nick McVey. Nick McVey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joshua Drysdale to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Walter McCammond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tighnabruaich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter McCammond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sunderland getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Anthony Limond hit a great ball. Walter McCammond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aidan Norman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nick McVey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Tighnabruaich's Nick McVey threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aidan Norman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Walter McCammond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Aidan Norman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nick McVey. The goal made the score 1-2. Edward Fostar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shane Cowan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Tighnabruaich played a much better game than Sunderland and deserved their victory. The Sunderland players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
