Stewart Harold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lloyd Donnellson in the 7th minute of play. Mike Robb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Laidlaw in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Lloyd Donnellson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Stewart Harold, passed just outside the right post. Perth Frogs AFC's Tam Brebner got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Malcolm Forrest fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JAMAICA REDEMPTION's protests and gave Malcolm Forrest a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes JAMAICA REDEMPTION got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Forrest. After a defensive mix-up in Perth Frogs AFC's zone, Quentin Caw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Robb came out of the goal and Quentin Caw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Lloyd Donnellson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perth Frogs AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lloyd Donnellson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tam Brebner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tam Brebner got free with Stewart Harold in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quentin Caw's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mike Robb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Perth Frogs AFC's Tam Brebner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stewart Harold. Stewart Harold yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Jake Laidlaw made the kick off in the second half. Lloyd Donnellson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Stewart Harold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lloyd Donnellson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Mike Menzies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match Connor Fergus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stewart Harold showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Tam Brebner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perth Frogs AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 71 minutes into the match, Lloyd Donnellson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stewart Harold. JAMAICA REDEMPTION's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lloyd Donnellson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of JAMAICA REDEMPTION booed when Perth Frogs AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy McQuhirr didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Quentin Caw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quentin Caw got free with Mike Robb in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th match minute, Perth Frogs AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paddy Raith to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timothy McQuhirr during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Perth Frogs AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Timothy McQuhirr hit a great ball. Tam Brebner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Harold having to interfere. If Tam Brebner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quentin Caw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mike Robb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Perth Frogs AFC were the better team. Perth Frogs AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
