The audience was convinced that Alisdair McRaith's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stewart Harold was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The Livingston fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Livingston's Mike Harold looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Livingston fully deserved thier win.
