When Lloyd Donnellson came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Perth Frogs AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lloyd Donnellson couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, DEDRIDGE's Stevie Bontein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mike Robb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tam Brebner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mike Robb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phillip McWhirter in the 16th minute of the match. Liam Laidlaw made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Tam Brebner sent off a good shot on target. Mike Robb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phillip McWhirter in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Phillip McWhirter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mike Robb was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 27 minutes in the game, Tam Brebner fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Liam Laidlaw having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Phillip McWhirter was the one to do the kick off. Tam Brebner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Liam Laidlaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, DEDRIDGE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay McCune to maneuver through the defense. When Perth Frogs AFC's Lloyd Donnellson in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Liam Laidlaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tam Brebner, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind DEDRIDGE's goalkeeper Liam Laidlaw, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Phillip McWhirter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Perth Frogs AFC's goalkeeper Mike Robb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stevie Bontein. Adrian Cattanach kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lloyd Donnellson in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liam Laidlaw saved DEDRIDGE from getting behind. Liam Laidlaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tam Brebner in the 91st minute of play. Lloyd Donnellson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liam Laidlaw having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
