Guy Docherty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alisdair Durrant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Declan McAslan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guy Docherty quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Declan McAslan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Old Town FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Declan McAslan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Docherty breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Element Zero getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Conor Walker hit a great ball. If Greg McOurlic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Old Town FC's Joshua Elder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Old Town FC from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Drew Constable put in a rough tackle. 41 minutes into the game, one of Old Town FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shaun Manson was the one to do the kick off. Greg McOurlic scored 4-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joshua Elder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joshua Elder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greg McOurlic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ciaran Ambrose's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joshua Elder was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Old Town FC's goal looked a bit too open when Greg McOurlic came free, but Joshua Elder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Conlon in the 84th minute of play forced Old Town FC's goalkeeper Joshua Elder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Docherty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alisdair Durrant in the 85th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Element Zero defense, Alisdair Durrant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guy Docherty. The Element Zero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guy Docherty should have stopped the shot. Joshua Elder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciaran Ambrose, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The audience was convinced that Conor Walker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joshua Elder was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Old Town FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
