Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vincent Andrews made the kick off which started today's match. Derek Rose took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kenny Hendry. Falkirk F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 6th minute, Timmy McArthur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Penicuik FC's Phil Summers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenny Hendry narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Penicuik FC's Phil Summers in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falkirk F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Stephen Boyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Murray McCutchen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penicuik FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falkirk F.C. the free kick. Murray McCutchen hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Falkirk F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Marnoch to maneuver through the defense. Phil Summers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phil Summers struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Kenny Hendry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penicuik FC. 44 minutes into the game, Phil Summers lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Kenny Hendry.

Phil Summers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kenny Hendry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Penicuik FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Phil Summers hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Penicuik FC's goalkeeper Roy Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stephen Boyle. Miles McJames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kenny Hendry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Falkirk F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Phil Summers came free, but Kenny Hendry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falkirk F.C.'s Kenny Hendry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Summers in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Penicuik FC booed when Falkirk F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Marnoch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Phil Summers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenny Hendry was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Penicuik FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Derek Rose hit a great ball. Alistair Lucas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roy Day. Penicuik FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kenny Hendry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miles McJames in the 79th minute of the match. Roy Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stephen Boyle went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 4-1 became the score in the 86th minute when Wal McIlvain elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Miles McJames notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Falkirk F.C.'s Kenny Hendry. Kenny Hendry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Falkirk F.C.'s Timmy McArthur got a free kick in the 97th minute. Penicuik FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
