Owen Abrahams started the match with the kick off. Stephen Boyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Vincent Andrews in the 8th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Callum Findlater's late challenge caught a Falkirk F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Callum Findlater helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Callum Findlater hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, YELLY Nets FC's Owen Abrahams dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Stephen Boyle came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Falkirk F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stephen Boyle couldn't finish the play. Callum Findlater hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Vincent Andrews sped through YELLY Nets FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joshua Walker. Joshua Walker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Andrews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, Falkirk F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Carrigan to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vincent Andrews was the one to do the kick off. Owen Abrahams took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenny Hendry. Kenny Hendry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Vincent Andrews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Owen Abrahams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owen Abrahams in the 79th minute of play forced Falkirk F.C.'s goalkeeper Kenny Hendry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Hendry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Baldwin in the 80th minute of the match. Owen Abrahams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kenny Hendry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darren Baldwin succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Kenny Hendry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Owen Abrahams's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, YELLY Nets FC's Max McRobie got a free kick in the 91st minute. Falkirk F.C.'s Alistair Lucas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for YELLY Nets FC. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. YELLY Nets FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Falkirk F.C. for much of the match.
