Element Zero's Robert Kinnieson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Summers in the 21st minute of play. Robert Kinnieson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Summers in the 23rd minute of the match. Chris McGrath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Day having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Liam Hardy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Element Zero's supporters rose to their feet, but Liam Hardy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Penicuik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Hardy came free, but Roy Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roy Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conor Walker in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Element Zero booed when Penicuik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wal McIlvain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciaran Ambrose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roy Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conor Walker, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Frank Pitullich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Kinnieson having to interfere. Element Zero's Robert Kinnieson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Pitullich in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Phil Summers scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Kinnieson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roy Day came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Element Zero's Chris McGrath. But to his dismay, Chris McGrath quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Roy Day was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Ciaran Ambrose capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciaran Ambrose really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After 69 minutes, Ronan Gillon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penicuik FC and the Element Zero players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Penicuik FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Element Zero:s goal. The goalkeeper, Roy Day, was totally fooled by Element Zero's Liam Hardy, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Robert Kinnieson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miles McJames, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Phil Summers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Kinnieson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Summers in the 78th minute of play forced Element Zero's goalkeeper Robert Kinnieson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciaran Ambrose hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Penicuik FC's goalkeeper Roy Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciaran Ambrose. The supporters of Penicuik FC booed when Element Zero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Clark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Kinnieson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miles McJames in the 89th minute of play. Element Zero's Liam Hardy got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Phil Summers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Penicuik FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Element Zero's performance. The match ended with a win for Element Zero.
