Spectators: 8090 (Terracing: 6069, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 161) 11 minutes into the match, Milltimber's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Whannell came free, but Conor Bruce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rory Malcolmson in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conor Bruce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 minutes, Stewart Garvie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milltimber and the Alexandria players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Milltimber got a freekick which was hit by Stewart Garvie. Rory Malcolmson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Milltimber's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Malcolmson came free, but Conor Bruce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Jim Robb got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 25 minutes into the match, Rory Malcolmson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conor Bruce. Milltimber's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rory Malcolmson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rory Malcolmson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conor Bruce having to interfere. Darren Hendrie hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rory Malcolmson in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conor Bruce saved Milltimber from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paddy McNiven during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alexandria's Paddy McNiven got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Conor Bruce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Malcolmson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rory Malcolmson to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel McDaid kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Conor Bruce came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Alexandria's Alexander Whannell. But to his dismay, Alexander Whannell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Jim McKeith kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Milltimber's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Rory Malcolmson scored to the left of an out of position Conor Bruce, making the score, 0-4. Conor Bruce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Malcolmson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phil Booth struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Gregor McOmie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milltimber. Jim McKeith's late challenge caught a Milltimber's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jim McKeith helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Alexandria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim McKeith to maneuver through the defense. Conor Bruce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim McKeith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rory Malcolmson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conor Bruce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory Malcolmson in the 85th minute of the match. Conor Bruce made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Alexander Whannell sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th match minute, Milltimber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Enrick to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Brian Clements hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alexandria walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
