Jim McKinlay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rod Carter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Westfield AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Alan McEachan hit a great ball. Liam Malloch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim McKinlay having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Westfield AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ebola United:s goal. Westfield AFC:s Jim McKinlay showed great skill when he stopped Max McMinn:s penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Guy Lauchlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ebola United's supporters rose to their feet, but Guy Lauchlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim McKinlay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ebola United's Jason Coull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lloyd Appleby in the 23rd minute of play. Hamish Gillon kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Rod Carter sped through Westfield AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jim McKinlay. Jim McKinlay was a little too slow when Rod Carter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 3-0. 34 minutes into the game, Liam Malloch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jim McKinlay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rod Carter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jim McKinlay came out and tried to block the shot, but Rod Carter slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 38th minute. Liam Lewis's late challenge caught a Westfield AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liam Lewis helped the player get up and apologised. Liam Lewis kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Liam Malloch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rod Carter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rod Carter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jim McKinlay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Westfield AFC's Lloyd Appleby in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ebola United's goalie prevented a goal. Rod Carter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jim McKinlay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod Carter, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. A collision led to Ebola United getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Liam Lewis hit a great ball. When Kyle Sandison fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westfield AFC's protests and gave Kyle Sandison a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Westfield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Sandison to maneuver through the defense. If Liam Malloch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Rod Carter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jim McKinlay was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 74th minute, Terence Weaver made a precise shot to the right of Jim McKinlay. Westfield AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Ebola United's Liam Malloch got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Liam Malloch came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ebola United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liam Malloch couldn't finish the play. When Ebola United's Liam Malloch in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westfield AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute, Rod Carter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guy Lauchlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rod Carter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim McKinlay having to interfere. Jason Coull made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Lloyd Appleby sent off a good shot on target. Jason Coull didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lloyd Appleby went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Ebola United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
