Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 6 minutes, Calum Grier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calum Grier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carrbridge Scotland Pals's zone, Craig McTary stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregor Burk came out of the goal and Craig McTary tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Owen Innes in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregor Burk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calum Grier succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. After a rather tough play, Carrbridge Scotland Pals's Steven Constable got a free kick in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Calum Grier put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gregor Burk. Gregor Burk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calum Grier in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Carrbridge Scotland Pals got a freekick which was hit by Steven Constable. Calum Grier succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 31st playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jonathan Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrbridge Scotland Pals's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Cox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joshua Denune breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Steven Constable fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrbridge Scotland Pals's protests and gave Steven Constable a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Steven Constable hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Lanark defense, Jonathan Cox kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joshua Denune. The Lanark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joshua Denune should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Cox to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Owen Innes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregor Burk was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. If Calum Grier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregor Burk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calum Grier, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Craig McTary recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Craig McTary in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregor Burk saved Carrbridge Scotland Pals from getting behind. Calum Grier struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gregor Burk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanark. Gregor Burk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Craig McTary in the 63rd minute of the match. Carrbridge Scotland Pals's Gregor Burk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calum Grier in the 64th minute of play. If Craig McTary had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gregor Burk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calum Grier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Owen Innes struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. After 95 played minutes, Carrbridge Scotland Pals's Derek Aitken shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joshua Denune came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carrbridge Scotland Pals reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Cox in the 96th minute of play forced Lanark's goalkeeper Joshua Denune to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Lanark players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
