Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Malcolm McEoin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Wilson in the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, Orkney's Chris Fairbairn got control of the ball when Ronald Eadie tried to sneak it across the goal line. KingsHall's Malcolm McEoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shane Davenport in the 16th minute of play. When Ronald Eadie came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the KingsHall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Eadie couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Orkney's Wal Beattie got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ricky McFater fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm McEoin having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, KingsHall's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Davenport came free, but Malcolm McEoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Adrian Morren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KingsHall's Malcolm McEoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky McFater in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, KingsHall's Willie Armour dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Chris Fairbairn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronald Eadie in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Ricky McFater cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Malcolm McEoin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronald Eadie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Chris Fairbairn made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willie Armour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chris Fairbairn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willie Armour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm McEoin made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ricky McFater sent off a good shot on target. If Ronald Eadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to KingsHall getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Edmond McChlerich hit a great ball. Malcolm McEoin came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Orkney's Ricky McFater. But to his dismay, Ricky McFater quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Shane Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes of play Orkney's Wal Beattie was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ricky McFater's late challenge caught a KingsHall's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricky McFater helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Orkney's Ricky McFater got a free kick in the 86th minute.
