Adam McKinnon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charlie McCluskie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. If Grant McKessock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Partick Thistle F.C.'s goalkeeper Charlie McCluskie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charlie McCluskie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam McKinnon in the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam McKinnon in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charlie McCluskie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Partick Thistle F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Roy McIndeor hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam McKinnon in the 18th minute of play forced Partick Thistle F.C.'s goalkeeper Charlie McCluskie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Adam McKinnon put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Charlie McCluskie. In the 23rd match minute, Bahji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie McOmish to maneuver through the defense. Charlie McCluskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Clyne in the 26th minute of play. Partick Thistle F.C.'s Charlie McCluskie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam McKinnon in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Stevie Gowrie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Neil Clyne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie McCluskie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie McCluskie came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bahji FC's Adam McKinnon. But to his dismay, Adam McKinnon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Neil Clyne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Neil Clyne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bahji FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Partick Thistle F.C.'s Charlie McCluskie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam McKinnon in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Walter Yuille made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Yuille in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronnie McGilroy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charlie McCluskie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam McKinnon in the 56th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neil Clyne got free with Charlie McCluskie in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charlie McCluskie made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Neil Clyne sent off a good shot on target. If Adam McKinnon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charlie McCluskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam McKinnon in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charlie McKeochan during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Partick Thistle F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joseph Lyall in the 71st minute. Charlie McKeochan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Charlie McCluskie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Charlie McCluskie was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adam McKinnon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 80 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Partick Thistle F.C.'s zone, Adam McKinnon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie McCluskie came out of the goal and Adam McKinnon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Adam McKinnon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Charlie McCluskie, 0-5. Bahji FC's Ron Barr suffered a concussion in the 94th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Stevie Gowrie's late challenge caught a Bahji FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stevie Gowrie helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 97 minutes, Freddie McOmish managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahji FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddie McOmish was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Partick Thistle F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bahji FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
