Spectators: 6849 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 0) Ronald Inches started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Paddy Dow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg McCorkle in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Munlochy's Martin Stark got a free kick in the 5th minute. Greg McCorkle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paddy Dow having to interfere. When Munlochy's Ronald Inches in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tradition Ways AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Ronald Inches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Archie McAree during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Steven McJames hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Tradition Ways AFC's Rafal Glapiak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Tradition Ways AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Tyler Beaton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ben Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Munlochy's zone, Tim McInroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paddy Dow came out of the goal and Tim McInroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paddy Dow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg McCorkle, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Paddy Dow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim McInroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Ben Mason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Archie McAree notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Munlochy's Paddy Dow. Paddy Dow was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Greg McCorkle made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Inches in the 52nd minute of play forced Tradition Ways AFC's goalkeeper Rafal Glapiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Neil Finlayson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Munlochy and the Tradition Ways AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Munlochy got a freekick which was hit by Neil Finlayson. After a defensive mix-up in Munlochy's zone, Greg McCorkle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paddy Dow came out of the goal and Greg McCorkle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tradition Ways AFC's Archie McAree got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Archie McAree off the ground. 65 minutes into the game, Ben Henderson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rafal Glapiak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ben Henderson might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafal Glapiak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ben Henderson ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Inches in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafal Glapiak saved Tradition Ways AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ben Henderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Munlochy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ben Henderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafal Glapiak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronald Inches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rafal Glapiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim McInroy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paddy Dow having to make a save. With a little luck, Munlochy's Paddy Dow got control of the ball when Tim McInroy tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ronald Inches came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Munlochy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Inches couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tradition Ways AFC's Greg McCorkle got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ronald Inches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Rafal Glapiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
