Greg McCorkle started the match with the kick off. Blair Coultard charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blair Coultard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real Renfrew's Blair Coultard got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Real Renfrew's goal looked a bit too open when Greg McCorkle came free, but Jordan McGorry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Duffy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafal Glapiak. Tradition Ways AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Real Renfrew booed when Tradition Ways AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Callum McQuarrie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Greg McCorkle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan McGorry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Real Renfrew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blair Coultard to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Greg McCorkle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jordan McGorry. Greg McCorkle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Real Renfrew's goal looked a bit too open when Callum McQuarrie came free, but Jordan McGorry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Callum McQuarrie came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jordan McGorry could save by the left post. Alex McGruder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Tradition Ways AFC got a freekick which was hit by Steven Dyer. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex McGruder in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafal Glapiak saved Tradition Ways AFC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex McGruder in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafal Glapiak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jordan McGorry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greg McCorkle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Alex McGruder made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Callum McQuarrie in the 51st minute of play forced Real Renfrew's goalkeeper Jordan McGorry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordan McGorry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim McInroy, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Real Renfrew's Willie Erskine shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rafal Glapiak but with some difficulty. Alex McGruder might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafal Glapiak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex McGruder ran back to his position shaking his head. Blair Coultard struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Rafal Glapiak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Renfrew. In the 69th minute Greg McCorkle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan McGorry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Renfrew's Blair Coultard got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Blair Coultard off the ground. The supporters of Tradition Ways AFC booed when Real Renfrew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blair Coultard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Innes McChlerich got free with Rafal Glapiak in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafal Glapiak came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Renfrew's Alex McGruder. But to his dismay, Alex McGruder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jordan McGorry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim McInroy in the 81st minute of the match. Jordan McGorry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Callum McQuarrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 90 minutes into the match, Real Renfrew's Alex McGruder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafal Glapiak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Tradition Ways AFC got a freekick which was hit by Steven Dyer. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Renfrew's Alex McGruder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafal Glapiak. That made the score 1-4 after 95 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Renfrew walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
