Spectators: 6857 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1857, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rob Clarkson took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 13th minute of the game, Shaun McMinn landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Shaun Frissell's late challenge caught a Beat Rafal fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shaun Frissell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Ventnor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shaun Frissell to maneuver through the defense. Connor McEol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes Ventnor got a freekick which was hit by Fraser McSorley. 21 minutes into the match, Beat Rafal fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Bontein came free, but Ronald Brebner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beat Rafal fc's Ronald Brebner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Bontein in the 28th minute of play. When Connor McEol came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Beat Rafal fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Connor McEol couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ventnor's zone, Shaun Henderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darius McCodrum came out of the goal and Shaun Henderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Connor McEol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Darius McCodrum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Shaun Henderson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Darius McCodrum. Ben Bontein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ronald Brebner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben Bontein received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ben Bontein made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Beat Rafal fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronan Meyners to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Paddy McGugan in the 57th minute really tested Darius McCodrum's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Connor McEol in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Darius McCodrum, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ventnor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ben Bontein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Brebner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Shaun Henderson came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Beat Rafal fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaun Henderson couldn't finish the play. Connor McEol let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 85th minute shot 2-3 at rihgt post. Ronald Brebner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aidan Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ventnor's goalkeeper Darius McCodrum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Beat Rafal fc's Connor McEol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darius McCodrum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beat Rafal fc played a much better game than Ventnor and deserved their victory. The Ventnor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
