Alex Fish who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Steven McOmie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Perth Punks's Nicol McGorrie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Steven McOmie. Steven McOmie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Steven McOmie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicol McGorrie in the 78th minute of play. The Perth Punks players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lanark AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
