Murray Gow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Griesck in the 9th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Griesck couldn't finish the play. Vincent McDonleavy struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Murray Gow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosewell. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Murray Gow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Huntly kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Murray Gow stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robin Griesck's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Mike Bryde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Barr having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
