Spectators: 8015 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) Wolves FC's Greg McVean started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Aidan McKelloch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aidan McKelloch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Aidan McKelloch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Greg McVean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Mennie having to interfere. Aidan McKelloch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Derek Beresford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aidan McKelloch struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Derek Beresford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killin. James Mennie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Forsyth went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Greg McVean sped through Killin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of James Mennie. Greg McVean's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, James Mennie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Greg McVean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Mennie having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when John Gemmil made the kick off in the second half. James Mennie came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves FC's Greg McVean. But to his dismay, Greg McVean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Wolves FC's Greg McVean in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Killin's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Ayson in the 58th minute of play forced Killin's goalkeeper James Mennie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greg McVean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. James Mennie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Greg McVean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Killin's James Mennie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th match minute, Killin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamish Gaunson to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Greg McVean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Mennie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Forsyth in the 68th minute of play forced Killin's goalkeeper James Mennie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bruce Ayson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Greg McVean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Killin's James Mennie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Bruce Ayson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Killin's zone, Bruce Ayson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. James Mennie came out of the goal and Bruce Ayson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC's Greg McVean got a free kick in the 84th minute. James Mennie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Greg McVean's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Adrian Forsyth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. James Mennie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wolves FC had played much better football throughout.
