After a rather tough play, glasgow rangers's Oliver Limont got a free kick in the 4th minute. Steve Gilbertson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tam Kinnieson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Steve Gilbertson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tam Kinnieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tam Kinnieson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Steve Gilbertson made a huge save. glasgow rangers's Steve Gilbertson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm McQuire in the 14th minute of play. When glasgow rangers's Adam Harperson in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brunswick Rovers's goalie prevented a goal. Aidan Cochrane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Harperson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Brunswick Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Limont came free, but Aidan Cochrane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Limont took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aidan Cochrane. Aidan Cochrane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Johnny Linklater could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Steve Gilbertson made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, glasgow rangers's goalkeeper Steve Gilbertson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Logan Buchanan. 30 minutes into the match, glasgow rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Tam Kinnieson came free, but Steve Gilbertson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aidan Cochrane came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by glasgow rangers's Oliver Limont. But to his dismay, Oliver Limont quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tam Kinnieson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Gilbertson having to interfere. Aidan Cochrane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Duffie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes glasgow rangers got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Limont.

Oliver Limont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aidan Cochrane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Harperson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aidan Cochrane having to make a save. Freddie Duffie might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aidan Cochrane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddie Duffie ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the match, Oliver Limont notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Brunswick Rovers's Aidan Cochrane. Aidan Cochrane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. glasgow rangers were furious when Sid Hawes was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 74 played minutes glasgow rangers got a freekick which was hit by Sid Hawes. Tam Kinnieson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Adam Harperson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aidan Cochrane having to interfere. Adam Harperson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Aidan Cochrane made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Limont got free with Aidan Cochrane in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Adam Harperson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Brunswick Rovers's zone, Oliver Limont stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aidan Cochrane came out of the goal and Oliver Limont tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. glasgow rangers's Adam Harperson got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The glasgow rangers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing glasgow rangers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
