In the 26th minute of the match Graeme Barton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nathan Malcolm skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Cromarty getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Finlay McAulay hit a great ball. John Gemmil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nathan Malcolm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. John Gemmil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nathan Malcolm made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Mark McMorran sent off a good shot on target. Mark McMorran hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Ronald Innie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Declan Hutchison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Innie in the 78th minute of play forced Killin's goalkeeper James Mennie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Declan Hutchison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without James Mennie having to make a save. Killin's James Mennie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Declan Hutchison in the 93rd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
