Spectators: 6845 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aidan McGugan started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aidan McGugan in the 6th minute of play forced Garve's goalkeeper Fergus Kellie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garve's Fergus Kellie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aidan McGugan in the 8th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, one of Olimpia Elblag SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olimpia Elblag SC. In the 24th minute of the match Garve's Nicol McCabe broke free and sent away a ball that went into the goal by the right post. 1-1. Fergus Kellie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aidan McGugan in the 29th minute of the match. Fergus Kellie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aidan McGugan in the 30th minute of play. Jay McGillegowie struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Fergus Kellie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpia Elblag SC. Aidan McGugan took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fergus Kellie. Fergus Kellie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Nicky McDonleavy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy McCombie came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicky McDonleavy slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicky McDonleavy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fergus Kellie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aidan McGugan, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute, Irvin McLergain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fergus Kellie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Terry McKerras went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Tommy McCombie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward McGorrie in the 70th minute of play. Tommy McCombie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky McDonleavy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aidan McGugan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy McCombie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack McNiven in the 78th minute of the match. Jay McGillegowie charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jay McGillegowie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Nicky McDonleavy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garve fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Olimpia Elblag SC's Tommy McCombie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward McGorrie in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
