Spectators: 8058 (Terracing: 6045, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 160) Westhill's Shaun Foulis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7th play minutes Shaun Foulis shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Tommy McCombie and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shaun Foulis in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy McCombie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Graeme McRaith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Olimpia Elblag SC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Aidan McGugan hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Graeme McRaith had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy McCombie. Olimpia Elblag SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Graeme McRaith was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Tommy McCombie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy McCombie came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Westhill's Shaun Foulis. But to his dismay, Shaun Foulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Graeme McRaith might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy McCombie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Graeme McRaith ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aidan McGugan was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Graeme McRaith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy McCombie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shaun Foulis got free with Tommy McCombie in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shaun Foulis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Tommy McCombie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The nice shot from Shaun Foulis in the 61stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Tommy McCombie had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Westhill:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olimpia Elblag SC:s goal. In the 72nd minute Terry McKerras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas McVail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Westhill:s Nicholas McVail showed great skill when he stopped Nathan McDade:s penalty. Westhill's Freddie McRobie got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joshua Connolly's late challenge caught a Westhill's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joshua Connolly helped the player get up and apologised. Joshua Connolly kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Olimpia Elblag SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Hendry to maneuver through the defense. Shaun Foulis in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy McCombie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 98th minute Shaun Foulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy McCombie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Westhill's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
