In the 15th minute, Stevie Alder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stuart Tawesson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. FC MUMIN's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpia Elblag SC's goalkeeper Tommy McCombie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jay McGillegowie fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpia Elblag SC's protests and gave Jay McGillegowie a yellow card for diving instead. Stevie Alder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy McCombie having to interfere. Jay McGillegowie was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of FC MUMIN booed when Olimpia Elblag SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay McGillegowie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terry McKerras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky McMaurice having to interfere. Tommy McCombie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stuart Tawesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stevie Alder in the 55th minute of play forced Olimpia Elblag SC's goalkeeper Tommy McCombie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aidan McGugan charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aidan McGugan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Olimpia Elblag SC got a freekick which was hit by Aidan McGugan. When Terry McKerras came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Olimpia Elblag SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry McKerras couldn't finish the play. Tommy McCombie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Tawesson in the 67th minute of play. Stuart Tawesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy McCombie having to interfere. Gordon Allan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tommy McCombie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stevie Alder went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in FC MUMIN's zone, Terry McKerras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricky McMaurice came out of the goal and Terry McKerras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, FC MUMIN's Stevie Alder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy McCombie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Olimpia Elblag SC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Joshua Connolly hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stuart Tawesson in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy McCombie saved Olimpia Elblag SC from getting behind. Tommy McCombie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Tawesson in the 91st minute of play. Olimpia Elblag SC's Tommy McCombie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Tawesson in the 93rd minute of play. Stevie Alder struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Tommy McCombie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MUMIN. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC MUMIN had won after a very even match.
