Iain McKelloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Burk in the 20th minute of play. Liam Burk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iain McKelloch having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Nigel Oliver recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy McNee. Nigel Oliver showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Balloch Gers's Iain McKelloch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kieran Cooke in the 33rd minute of play. If Liam Burk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liam Burk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Iain McKelloch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavin Adamson in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iain McKelloch saved Balloch Gers from getting behind. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liam Burk was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Samuel Davie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iain McKelloch. The goal made the score 1-2. PRIME UTD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liam Burk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PRIME UTD's Tommy McNee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nigel Oliver in the 59th minute of play. If Nigel Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy McNee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nigel Oliver in the 71st minute of the match. Gavin Adamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Balloch Gers's Iain McKelloch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Balloch Gers from getting a goal against them. Kieran Cooke kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
