AKS Strzegom's Andy McWhannell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Storie in the 16th minute of play. The referee gave Balloch Gers a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adam Dis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AKS Strzegom's Andy McWhannell. 0-2. Nigel Oliver charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nigel Oliver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Balloch Gers getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nigel Oliver hit a great ball. If Eric Coull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nigel Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy McWhannell having to interfere. AKS Strzegom's Andy McWhannell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Storie in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nigel Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balloch Gers's supporters rose to their feet, but Nigel Oliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy McWhannell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 49 minutes, Graeme Denoon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKS Strzegom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Graeme Denoon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taylor Randolf made a kick off. In the 60th minute, Eric Coull got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iain McKelloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taylor Randolf in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Eric Coull cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Iain McKelloch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Steve Storie fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Andy McWhannell, passed just outside the right post. Brian Coulter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Balloch Gers booed when AKS Strzegom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Caw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nigel Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greig McLaverty hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Balloch Gers defense, Taylor Randolf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iain McKelloch. The Balloch Gers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iain McKelloch should have stopped the shot. Eric Coull struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Iain McKelloch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKS Strzegom. The supporters of AKS Strzegom booed when Balloch Gers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lloyd Harperson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Steve Storie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balloch Gers's supporters rose to their feet, but Steve Storie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy McWhannell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, AKS Strzegom's goalkeeper Andy McWhannell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steve Storie. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
