Tommy McNee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PRIME UTD's Liam Burk got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The North Face's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Liam Burk scored to the left of an out of position Joe Reid, making the score, 1-1. Gavin Adamson might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joe Reid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavin Adamson ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, PRIME UTD's Liam Burk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joe Reid narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gavin Adamson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joe Reid having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liam Burk in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joe Reid saved The North Face from getting behind. Tommy McNee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Niven in the 26th minute of the match. Steven Niven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy McNee having to interfere. A collision led to The North Face getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Patrick McLennan hit a great ball. 2-1 became the score in the 37th minute when Liam Burk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of The North Face booed when PRIME UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kieran Cooke didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gavin Adamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Niven charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steven Niven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Gavin Adamson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavin Adamson made a kick off. Joe Reid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavin Adamson in the 53rd minute of play. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PRIME UTD! Samuel Davie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gavin Adamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Joe Reid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
