Iain McKelloch was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Liam Burk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Liam Burk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Iain McKelloch made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gavin Adamson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Burk in the 11th minute of play forced Balloch Gers's goalkeeper Iain McKelloch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavin Adamson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Iain McKelloch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Balloch Gers's Iain McKelloch got control of the ball when Gavin Adamson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Balloch Gers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PRIME UTD:s goal. Mike McCruithein shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Gavin Adamson got free in front of the goal in the 34th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Iain McKelloch was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Iain McKelloch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liam Burk's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Nigel Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tommy McNee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nigel Oliver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy McNee was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Gavin Adamson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Iain McKelloch made a huge save. Liam Burk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Iain McKelloch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nigel Oliver made a kick off. Iain McKelloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavin Adamson in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gavin Adamson managed to get in a good position for a shot. PRIME UTD's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavin Adamson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iain McKelloch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, Gavin Adamson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iain McKelloch was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 66th minute, Murray Finlay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the game, Nigel Oliver recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy McNee. Nigel Oliver showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Iain McKelloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willie Norman in the 73rd minute of play. When Liam Burk came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the PRIME UTD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liam Burk couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Balloch Gers's goal looked a bit too open when Gavin Adamson came free, but Iain McKelloch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nigel Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liam Burk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, PRIME UTD's Liam Burk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iain McKelloch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. PRIME UTD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
