Spectators: 8153 (Terracing: 6116, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 162) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lee McEwan made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Malcolm McIvor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Great Britain LIONS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inverurie Locos the free kick. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Great Britain LIONS FC! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lee McEwan in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tam Daniels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Great Britain LIONS FC's Stuart McQuhirr got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tam Daniels was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lee McEwan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 20th minute, Lee McEwan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tam Daniels was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With his leg Tam Daniels managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Great Britain LIONS FC's Lee McEwan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lee McEwan in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tam Daniels, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lee McEwan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Great Britain LIONS FC's Lee McEwan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tam Daniels narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Lee McEwan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tam Daniels. The goal made the score 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willie Hardie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Thomas Sporran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexander Bonar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 58th minute Lee McEwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tam Daniels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Frew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tam Daniels having to interfere. Lee McEwan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Inverurie Locos's goal looked a bit too open when Lee McEwan came free, but Tam Daniels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Great Britain LIONS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Willie Hardie came free, but Alexander Bonar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes Inverurie Locos got a freekick which was hit by Dean Greusach. Sam Gray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tam Daniels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lee McEwan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tam Daniels having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Inverurie Locos's Innes McAulay got a free kick in the 74th minute. Lee McEwan struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Tam Daniels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Britain LIONS FC. Inverurie Locos's Tam Daniels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Fowler in the 78th minute of play. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Lee McEwan sped through Inverurie Locos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tam Daniels. After 86 played minutes Inverurie Locos got a freekick which was hit by Roddie Kerracher. The Great Britain LIONS FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Great Britain LIONS FC's Lee McEwan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sam Gray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tam Daniels having to interfere. Tam Daniels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee McEwan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sam McLucas's late challenge caught a Great Britain LIONS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sam McLucas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Sam McLucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Andrew Tyre sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Inverurie Locos's Tam Daniels didn't even have to move. Lee McEwan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tam Daniels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
